  1. You have to remember that when it comes to the concept of ethics all lawyers see ethics the same way they play golf - the goal is to get the lowest score possible. This isn't an American thing either. I'm Australian and our legal profession is almost as bad as America's and when you go looking around the world its the same all across the developed world. Whenever any of our lawyers are in the same position its the same stuff, the same deflections, the same avoidances, the same gish gallop nonsense and every other tactic they can dream up. I know everyone laughed at it but the one time Rudy Giuliani was 100% right in recent times was when he said "Truth isn't truth." because we now decide what's truth. Yeah its a totally Orwellian doublespeak statement, but its also 100% correct regarding current society where narrative is currency and facts are meaningless in political discussions.
