  2. You just hit the other nail on the head. Go see the comment by Curran Lakhani who pointed out that Bernie would have made them work. When you look at who the industries that support the DNC and GOP it comes down to 2 sets of oligarchs. On the GOP are the Carbon Oligarchs who basically make billions from extracting, refining and burning carbon based resources. On the DNC side are the Silicon Oligarchs who basically makes billions from technology, computers and industries that rely on computers. Yes there is a lot of crossover between the Carbon and Silicon camps, but the Oligarchs on the DNC side have a lot of interests in industries (notably medicine & pharmaceuticals) that a guy like Bernie would have clashed with. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️
