AUSTRALIAN HERE: I've seen some of the reports. Like the Canadians, Japanese, Brits, Japanese, South Koreans and a bunch of other countries we are supposed to believe that America is a reliable security partner when these clowns are your best options??????

@Oniijh NO - that does not mean he's good at public office that could mean many things. It could mean the Dem candidate was so bad they made De Sanctimonious look good and considering how bad the Dems are at campaigning that's as realistic as anything.

@Oniijh To quote Geena Davis from the Long Kiss Goodnight: "Were you born this stupid or did you take classes?" I answered that - he ran a better campaign and/or the Dem was that hopeless. Same as how Trump flipped Michigan, Ohio and Penn - Hilary snubbed them and Trump actually campaigned there. Just by going there he did better and Hilary despite her fanbase really was a SHlT candidate. Its not that hard to understand. Its a lesson for all political parties. You can put up a SHlT candidate so long as the other candidate is WORSE.

@bp6421 Do you know how accurately that describes the Australian Political Parties (Left & Right)???? And if you go and watch anything on British Politics it fits there too???? I don't come from a poly-sci or economics background. I'm an engineer so its kind of in my nature to ask WHY something is what it is because that's the basis of problem solving. Pretty much all engineers, physicists, chemists, mathematicians,.... are all fundamentally inquisitive people who like solving problems. What's amazed me is how SIMILAR the problems are across the developed world. - Politicians who can't make decisions and INSTEAD they pay consultants ridiculous money to justify why they can't do anything. - On the RARE times politicians make decisions the same wealthy people always benefit while the rest of us pay for it either in money or blood. - Economics that no matter who's in power the wealthy get wealthier and the rest of us pay for it. 90% have to face being dumped in the street while billionaires just wait for the eventual bail out. - Nobody can curb energy costs, or pay for health care or fund education but we EVERY government can still find the next BILLION for the next military toy. It all traces back to an inflection point centered around 3 people and a crisis. Back in the 1970s there was stagflation and up popped Milton Friedman. Then came Ronnie Reagan and Marge Thatcher who bashed their nations senseless with Uncle Milton's "Greed is Good!" mantra and acted as if rapacious greed was never going to bite. It was a dumb as swimming with rabid piranhas and expecting not to be eaten. Yes there were many other events in history but almost everything we are dealing with right now passed through that inflection point. You can look at things like Citizens United and trace that back to Reaganomics which was based around the idea that "Government isn't the solution. Government is the problem." Brexit can all be traced back to Thatcherism. Here in Australia our issues with energy, manufacturing, banking and our massive issue with consultants all trace back to 2 key Treasurers (our equivalent to the Secretary of the Treasury). Paul Keating came from the Left and Peter Costello from the Right. They slowly demolished our manufacturing sector and sent it piece by piece to China, while employing an endless list of consultants who sold off our national assets and de-regulated anything and everything. DOES THAT SOUND FAMILIAR?

nothanks9503 Buddy people are finding out all over the world just how bad some of their elected people are and they all wonder how it happens. Here in Australia awe have had some shockers that would be right at home in Trumpistan. Marjorie Taylor Greene has a long lost cousin down here named Pauline Hanson. We get the news from England and they have a guy named Nigel Farage who lead the Brexit Campaign. He's done nothing but blame everyone he can for how Brexit has gone. When Brexit happened he was ALREADY one of the Brits elected to the European Parliament and INSTEAD of staying and negotiating the deal he ran away and then started blaming people for how it was going. He is so sleazy that even the GOP might NOT have him, but Trump would do something like make him secretary of the treasury or head of the Fed. Sam Harris did this recent podcast on A$$holes. Its both funny and sad but he goes right into what these people are. I actually just watched part of the Australian Program Planet America and they interviewed Ronald Reagan Jr. HE DID NOT HOLD BACK. The title of the vid is "Rivals turn on Trump in Republican debate"
