  1. David Pakman was the first person I hears use the term "toxic sport politics." It perfectly describes how people like Ted Cruz operate. They don't care about anything but winning the next news cycle. The actual substance of anything doesn't matter so long as they can win some meaningless point and when the next news cycle starts win the next meaningless point. FYI - I'm Australian but went to college in America. We have our versions of Ted Cruz. We get the news out of Europe and every country in Europe has their Ted Cruz types. And to be fair ALL SIDES, not just the Right, have these people. Look at Pelosi, she doesn't give a damn about the American people, just winning the next news cycle.
