  1. You're right in that Kyle has said something stupid deserving of scorn. The problem isn't the Senate its HOW the Senate FUNCTIONS. It was meant (like similar institutions around the world) to provide a voice to smaller demographics and give them a voice in government. It was also meant to provide checks and balances as it does with validating appointments. It was never meant to be a place where an opposition could stall the will of the majority. It was also mean to be a place where they limited executive power which as the whole world saw with the Trump impeachments has totally been corrupted. Concentrating 100% of political power in 1 house doesn't generally work. Most developed countries have a 2 tier system where one tier runs the country and the other checks they aren't doing crazy stupid crap. America's problem is that both houses and the executive are so corrupted by money none of them function as intended.

  2. That's 1/2 sensible and 1/2 stupid. Its 1/2 sensible because keeping the 2 existing parties AS THEY CURRENTLY EXIST is the problem. Its 1/2 stupid because you are blaming the system failure on the fact America only has 2 parties. For starters that's fundamentally wrong America has dozens of parties like the greens. The problem is that America is dominated by 2 parties that are BOTH CORRUPTED by MONEY.
