  1. To All: We have had similar problems in Australia. We have done very well in containing the virus, but it has come at a huge economic cost that we are starting to come out of but we do have some industries that will not recover quickly. Our international tourism and international student industries will take a long time to recover. Just as this guy pointed out "essential services" we've had some of the same. We shut down many many industries but strangely construction and mining were somehow considered essential and allowed to go on. Our major sports codes were somehow considered "essential" and allowed to restart without crowds, just like the NFL in America and soccer in Europe. From what I have heard its been similar in other countries where strangely some industries got exemptions. FYI - I went to college in America. You are a great country with great people. I genuinely hope you guys get past this. The world has stuff we need to get on with. After COVID we still have climate change, the middle east, refugees and other issues. We can't deal with these bigger planet wide issues without America on board. Where ever you are - take care & stay safe. 👍👍🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
