@Will Asking an American to think before they spout out their opinion. Yeah, aahhhh, hhhmmmmm????? Hell freezing over or an American thinking before they proclaim their opinion - which do you think will happen first? I'll give Kyle a bit of credit, he does try and think before the mouth opens and the noise starts coming out. I'd bet that if someone points this faux pas out to him he'll correct himself.

@Will So are you guys planning on being part of Britain or part of Europe? Or is option 3 where you tell them all to FO on the table?

@Will Have you watched any of your fellow Scot Mark Blyth's lectures? He's a political economist who's a professor at Brown U. in America. He makes fun of how Britain tore up the "best deal ever." I think a lot of people completely misread a chunk of the English population who felt 'left out." I have gotten the impression Brexit was a backlash against an elite part of the London establishment who typical of elites think they are right about EVERYTHING and the rest of us are just like George Orwell's ignorant uneducated 1984 proletariat. 🤷♂️🤷♀️

@Will Of all the people I have listened to in recent years (even before COVID) he's been the best value. That's possibly because he talks about "systems" and my background is in aerospace engineering where we do a lot of systems thinking. Systems thinking is not simply doing a solution to a problem its about considering the consequences of a solution. Unlike most other forms of engineering everything in aerospace is tightly interconnected and any change in one part tends to have consequences in other parts that can't be simply dismissed. Mark Blyth talks about how systems are interconnected. Here's his primer on Angrynomics -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXJD5rE4omY Here's a longer version on "how we got here" -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJoe_daP0DE He does a monthly podcast via the Watson Institute (part of Brown U.) where he works. -> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCok8bs3XNbyU93LMwQ4A55w

Completely irresponsible and idiotic comment. Its idiotic in the oversimplification of what was an incredibly complex situation. History tells us they DID SURRENDER after the second bomb, but that does not even scratch the surface of the complexity of what was going on.
