  1. Political movements have always had a word to rally around. Before they screamed "woke" at everything they screamed "socialism" at everything and before that they screamed "communism" at everything. To some extent they still scream socialism and communism but right now woke is the hammer they beat everything with. And its not just something the Right does either. The Left can do it too. Go look at any documentary or film on the French Revolution. They'd point a finger at someone and scream "Aristo" for aristocrat and that person would get a 1 way trip to the guillotine. The Russians weren't any better in their revolution.
