Why not politically its a winner for the Dems? The Democrats have suffered for years in getting people motivated to vote for them. If you're a Democratic strategist this decision is the best news you've had in decades. What better motivation do those people who do not normally vote to get up and vote? Look at what its already done for the polls. I heard a great assessment today. No one should be surprised. The Republicans made no secret they wanted to stack SCOTUS and overturn Roe v Wade and have been yelling it from the rooftops for decades. Mitch McConnell made no secret that this was his plan for the past 30+ years. My bet is the Dems chose not to stop it so that they could get a massive midterm win from a hopeless position. From a strategic point the Republicans have fired their big shot and all it has done is aggravate a staggering chunk of the population who usually don't give a damn and don't vote.

@brandonsarasnick1602 Actually that's a very good description "Bloods and Crips." I liken it to 2 5 year olds in a sand pit fighting over the bucket and shovel as they stomp all over the sand castle they are trying to claim as their God given right.
