  1. That's fair based on the outcomes but it also ignores the fact that Guantanamo has become an evil FKing place. For the entire Cold War America preached to the world about justice, freedom and democracy and often pointed out these things the Russian had called Gulags. They were places the Russians sent people they didn't like without trials and rebutted anybody else who asked about them. The Cubans formally asked the Americans to leave Guantanamo but like the bad faith actor they can be they stayed like an illegal squatter. Now America has a prison, in a foreign country where they have been asked to leave. That prison has people in it who are there for no other reason than America "doesn't like them." Many have never been charged let alone seen a court room.
