  1. No shite. I think it was Kyle who said or repeated that Gerald Ford was first canned over the end of Vietnam. Ford's polls/ratings tanked and then a few months later his ratings were not just back they were better because people woke up to the reality that they were finally out. And being out meant no more body bags. My bet is that in a few weeks we'll see these same a-holes praising how Biden got America out. When that happens watch for the back flip of all back flips when Trump will claim its was all his work and that Biden messed it up. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️ Interestingly - Prof. Mark Blyth (the political economist from Brown U.) pointed out that now America is out the Taliban are now the problem of Pakistan, Iran, Russia and China. The Chinese made a deal with the Taliban a few months back BUT the Chinese have also been treating the Uyghurs of Western China (who are Muslims) like garbage. If the Chinese think the Taliban wont defend or give safe haven to Uyghur separatists they are in for a rude surprise.

  2.  @Rkenichi  great point. I've heard that many journalists (using that word in its broadest context) are judged on the clicks their articles generate. Back in the day all journalists got collectively judged on how many newspapers got sold. Now they can each be judged individually on clicks. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️
