@TheBeeFactory No disagreement on anything you said but add in most of everyone else, because the vast vast majority of humans don't care about nuance. Its one of the great contradictions of our times. Its never been more important to understand what's going on while at the same time the vast bulk of humanity is too busy to stop and care about what's going on. AND on those rare occasions they do they are usually stuck between 2 clowns screaming at each other.

Its the messaging. I was just watching Kyles vid on the Dems slam ad on Trump and somebody made the simple comment that the Left need to have better messaging more consistently. This is common across the world. I'm Australian and we have the same problem here. I've seen some of what's happened in Britain and they have a similar problem. The Right everywhere have simple more effective straight forward messaging that taps directly into the wilful ignorance of their base. "We'll give you stuff. They'll take your stuff." And it works.
