@dominicfucinari1942 Obama has openly said his policies lined up with Reagans. He's NOT a liberal as the GOP claim. He's a neo-liberal which is just a milder form of radical libertarian. That lot, lead by people like Charles Koch and the Heritage Foundation believe in zero corporate regulations and zero corporate tax. As many point out Obamacare was the policy Mitt Romney put forward that was drawn up by the Heritage Foundation.

@grtxyz4358 I'm an Australian who went to college in America in the late 80s. So I'm coming at this from a bit of history and outside perspective. Reagan was the worst, because by introducing Reaganomics and in particular the libertarian ideology of de-regulate he set America on a course to where it is now. And its had a wider effect than just America. We've adopted many of the same economic policies here as has most of the Western World. just a few weeks ago a guy from Romania was describing the privatisation of Romania's electricity grid and he perfectly described what we did in Australia right down to the public messaging. Trump's economics was actually Reaganomics 2.0. De-regulate everything and why not. Reaganomics 1.0 made people like Trump incredibly rich. The world should have seen it coming.
