I don't doubt anything your saying for the simple reason it makes sense. Once you make any public service a for-profit enterprise you have the same issues anywhere in the world. If you operate a for-profit prison then you make more money if you get more prisoners and the longer they stay the more money you get paid. Its the same for almost any of these services. So long as they are for-profit then they have no incentive to fix any issue. It doesn't matter if its prisons, homeless, health care, education, roads and other infrastructure. So long as the profit incentive is based on NOT FIXING the problem the problem will never get fixed.

@ethanstump NOT meaning to question harshly but I doubt the Mormons have 2x the wealth of the Vatican considering the number of Catholics in the world or their distribution or that the Vatican has had 2000 years to collect that wealth. Possibly in terms of wealth in America you are right.

@karmehed For one the Vatican is NOT a national church it is the control center for the entire Catholic system. I think that $100 Billion is a number you've pulled out of your ass. They have no where near the assets the Catholic church has around the world or even the assets they have across America. With only 16.5 million Mormons compared to 1.3 BILLION Catholics who have been gathering land and wealth for 2000 years not 200 there's no comparison. Sorry, but I think you need to open your eyes a bit wider.

You started with a claim the Mormons were 2x *as in twice) as wealthy as the Catholic Church. So how did you value the Catholic church at $50 Billion, when you also said "it is impossible to calculate all the wealth of the catholic church world wide" Oh that's right you didn't you just pulled that out of you ass. Why do you think I first suggested you had the comparison wrong??????? And Vatican is spelt with a C not a K. So I think its also pretty fair to call you out of everything. If you don't like being called out then don't spout out idiotic garbage in the first place.
