Unfortunately people like her will NEVER win any position of importance in ANY western democracy for the simple reason that it would be a match of common sense versus the emotions of a riled up mob. All modern politics is fundamentally about mob psychology NOT rational thinking and common sense. Prof. Mark Blyth gave a great description of politics in answer to a question regarding Elizabeth Warren after a lecture on Global Trumpism.
