Comments by "Tony Wilson" (@tonywilson4713) on "Noam Chomsky's CONTROVERSIAL Ukraine Comments | The Kyle Kulinski Show" video.
A couple of Weeks ago Konstantin Kisin (YT Channel Triggernometry) said almost the same thing on BBC Question Time. He actually argued with people and said NO we need to negotiate with Putin, because to force him out of Ukraine or force him out of power in Russia would be a disaster. -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DXwlqoSF70 Then on Mar 25 Yanis Varoufakis said almost the same thing again on Democracy Now. Only a few minutes in he pointed out Chinese military philosopher Sun Tzu said to give your opponent a way out when to trap them means utter destruction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=su4czYxGYxo So why are people going nuts at Chomsky, while other people are saying the same stuff? I think this is more of the petty ignorance of Americans who think they understand the world AND JUST DON'T.

@TwoForFlinchin1 Everything outside of America is less known in America and less understood by Americans. I'm Australian and went to college in America. Their basic knowledge of ANYTHING outside America is pitiful. They thought "Crocodile Dundee" was a documentary.

@TwoForFlinchin1 Its Yanis with a 'Y' and I don't personally know him or even care that much for economists except for the rare ones with brain function. I'm an engineer and in general think of economists as a pack of ignorant clowns. I say ignorant because they tend to "ignore" the rest of EVERYTHING as if nothing else exists but their markets and the systems that support them. Then there are those very few like Yanis, who look around, do some thinking and realise other sh*t happens so that when their mouth opens the rest of us don't feel the need to shoot them.

@darylgrimes2601 I think you need to get your history sorted out on who was the worst terrorist organisation. For sure the British Empire is near the top but its a long way behind the Catholic Church, the Russian Communist Party and the Chinese Communist Party when it comes to mass murder.

@darylgrimes2601 Never forget 1/2 the population has an IQ under 100 and the military accepts down to 92. In fact 1/2 the population is between 90 and 110. Its a statistical thing. As for knowing a lot about the United States. That's no longer the case. Ever since George Bush defunded the teaching of civics in particular Americans have known less and less about their own nation. I'm Australian but went to college in America (late 80s). The people I went to college with knew their own country better than I knew my own particularly at the constitutional level, but they never really knew much about the rest of the world.

Great idea but when we can't get the North Koreans, Iranians, Pakistanis, Indians or anyone else to give up their nukes I doubt we will get the Russians back to the table anytime soon. Especially when nations like America elect a clown like Trump who starts making bombs again.

@brianmcevoy1990 You are dead right. In a world where people elect populist clowns like Trump who just tore up treaties because they were done by people he didn't like AND bragged about how his big red button worked AND started spending more on military toys including NEW nuclear weapons. Who in their right mind would give up the deterrent. If you were Iran or North Korea and can see that Trump is likely to be back in 2024 what makes sense? Do you give them up or make them as fast as you can?

@michaelsieger9133 When I first saw your comment in the scroll bar I was "Oh Crap" but you made the point with the clarification at the end. You're spot on its NOT viable right now because Geopolitics DOESN'T have TRUST built into the system and because of clowns like Trump treaties don't mean what they used to. Our governments can't even be trusted or trust each other to work out climate change which is a far bigger threat to our economies. So right now there is NO chance they can agree on nukes, BUT the comment that started this thread is dead right. Remember Trump wanted to start manufacturing more nukes again so denuclearization DOES NEED to be in the conversation. Great point on viability.
