  1. As an engineer I can tell you with high certainty it wont be a separate algorithm. It will be a parameter or set of parameters that bias the algorithm. For those who don't have programming backgrounds, it simply makes no sense to have more than one algorithm. Think of your PC, its much easier to have a common operating system that can be set up to suit the PC and who's using it. We do that with settings some of which are on/off and others are some numerical value. YouTube will be the same. There will be settings for each channel and in those settings will be the parameters that bias the YT Algorithm. Just like with a PC some of those settings will be "Administrator" settings. What people like Kyle and others need to find out is what the administrator settings for their channels are. I'd expect YT to fight hard not to let anyone know what they are or how they work.
