My joke has always been. What did the MI6 assassin say to the CIA assassin? "You're tying the knot wrong." To which the CIA assassin said "Just shut up and hold him still. Remember no bruising or they might get suspicious." Then the Mossad assassin at the door told them both to be quiet because the guards were only paid to be gone for 1/2 and hour.

No, No, No. Goodfellas make a hit obvious. they do it to send a message. This was done with finesse. Sure we all know what it was but the evidence says it was probably suicide. @crymsondynaguy Your comment to x7y2k12 about Obama and Trump being the revers of each other. First reaction was WTF and then NO. I think your fairly close on that assessment. Obama ran on a very simple platform "Hope and Change" while Trump ran on MAGA. Both were light on substance and huge on the way they motivated people. We tend to forget that Obama came from the fringe and relative obscurity compared to Hilary Clinton. She had the huge political machine and he had his ability to speak publicly in a way that motivated a chunk of the electorate. Trump did very much the same thing. He came from the fringe against the establishment and was able to motivate a chunk of the electorate. Both ended up being huge disappointments. Neither could end the war in Afghanistan. Neither could close Gitmo (the prison part). Both failed to reign in government spending or the debt. Both ended up doing things that were in the best interests of the establishment donor class. The hard core supporters of both are irrational when it comes to any critical discussion or assessment about them.

@crymsondynaguy its an interesting point that I'd never thought of before. Although Mark Blyth talked about it in July 2019 after a lecture on Global Trumpism. The actual question is about Elizabeth Warren but he incudes descriptions about both Obama and Trump. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGuaoARJYU0&t=4794s
