Imagine if a Nobel Prize Laureate (winner) in economics said something like "health care which I think in America is the greatest disaster we have and which is one of the serious forces undermining democracy" Guess what one did. Here's something I just found the other day while looking up some stuff on economics. The Bertelsmann Foundation has been running a series on "How to fix Democracy." The second season (as they called it) was about economics. Below is the play list. #29 is Nobel Prize winner Sir Angus Deaton from Princeton who specialises in the analysis of consumption, poverty, and welfare. Listen to what he says about Health care about 4:18 in. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL36lfVkdVQqm3ovWsxBQlCEm0M4VZ4zIs How is that not news. Nobel Prize winner from Princeton says Health Care "is the greatest disaster we have" How is that not written on t-shirts and protest signs with people like Kyle howling about it from the roof tops.

@fortheloveofnoise Its called peasant control and its been practised for centuries. Go look through history. When peasant populations got too high and threatened ruling classes with their numbers the leaders usually did things like starve them or start a war. Many wars were started for no other reason than to kill off chunks of the peasant populations. Studying history is less about studying peoples and nations and more about studying narcissism.
