  1.  @darex0827  If there is a significant difference these days from 10, 20 or 30 years ago its how much harder it is to pay off student debt and its only getting harder. But that's also a symptom of the wider debt driven economies almost every western nation is running these days.

If you type "Useless degrees" into YT search there's a bunch of people talking about that subject. 1 on that list points out the $118k useless degree in drama. The counter to that will be the Hollywood millionaires, but then how many have degrees in drama. Interestingly I checked out Matt Damon, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg and all 3 are pretty successful and all 3 DROPPED out of Harvard. Hmmmmm.

  3. Its called the "Meritocracy" and its built around the false premise that my merit by virtue of my outcome justifies everything. Megan and these other mutts, like so many in the media, are self entitled, self righteous ignorant clowns who have commentary and opinions on EVERYTHING and not a single SOLUTION to ANYTHING.

  4.  @junfaa  Who are you referring to? The person who started this thread or Megan and her neo-liberal the goon squad buddies. I wouldn't agree that "Most" people with business degrees end up with small businesses. I'd agree with "Many" but not most. Most end up working for the corporate goons either directly or though subsidiaries. On that subject of small businesses - you can go almost anywhere in the Western World and small businesses get ignored politically and yet their contribution to employment and the overall economy is significant. In Australia I know that just our farms and tourism operators contribute over $200 billion and employ over 850,000 people and that's for a population about midway between Texas and Florida. Most of those 2 industries classify as small businesses. I hear the same sorts of stories out of Europe and North America.
