  1. Australian here - the IMPORTANT THING Kyle has missed is that Elon is not only trolling a couple of UK Politicians he's actively calling for them to be sacked. He's lucky the Brits haven't 007ed him. And if you're wondering why I'm concerned its because Australia has a Federal Election in a few months. Right now I am terrified of what these clowns can do. This is an incredibly important election for us. They all are but this one is more important than usual. We have a Left (Labor) that's in power and who Elon might like because they love EVs. However like many Left leaning parties their economics are 100% neoliberal free market nonsense (particularly with energy) and that makes many of their policies confusing and unworkable. On the other side we have the Right (Liberal National Party) and they are right in Trumps camp of conspiracies and RADICAL neoliberal economics. In between them are the Teal Independents and on the far Left are the Greens. The Teals have so far been politically ineffective but could be very effective if they can win more seats. The Greens are a lost cause of tree hugging hippies in suits. A couple of them want to be relevant in a smart way but the rest of them are smoking stuff. We have a chance at a future with Labor if we can wake them up but the LNP would be a disaster.
