  1. HEY AMERICA - do you know why Starbucks failed here in Australia? Because we already had populations of Italians, Greeks, Turks, French and other Euro-Mediterranean cultures who could make us a better cup of coffee for the same money. We just didn't need Starbucks and their crap. Maybe you Americans need to realise that all over America you have people from the same Euro-Mediterranean cultures who can easily make you a better cup of coffee AND GREAT cakes & pastries to go with them. Anyone who's ever been to America knows there's good pie in any diner. Just sayin' dudes you can all walk a few steps almost ANYWHERE in America and get something better than Starbucks.
