  1. NO Kyle its not getting press in America, just like the European drought is getting nothing. Outlets like DW, the BBC, France 24, ABC Australia have all been reporting on China's issues. Go look at Europe right now. The Rhine River is at its lowest level in our lifetimes and the biggest river in Italy is almost dry. All across Europe they are shutting down hydropower stations. ABC Australia did a story on the state of Chinese rivers over 2 years ago. The Yongding which the city if Beijing was founded beside has not flowed for around 30 years. Through irrigation schemes and pollution China has over 20,000 waterways either destroyed or severely damaged. Then there is America. John Oliver just did a great expose on the Colorado. The mismanagement of the Colorado goes back over a century. The scary thing is that I'm Australian and our river mismanagement is as bad as everyone else's.
