  1. Because like so many other political parties AROUND THE WORLD the Dems have a established leadership that is only interested in their power and they kill off any contenders. This is not particular to any party type or ideology as they are all doing it. Go watch some of Peter Zeihan's commentary on Putin in Russia and Xi Jinping in China where those 2 have done exactly the same thing. Look at Britain right now. Boris Johnson spent half his time getting rid of any talent that might challenge him and they were left with Liz Truss. I'm Australian and both sides of our politics are the same.
