  1. Yeah that's true to some extent and more so at the college level than grade, middle and high school. My parents were high school teachers, their friends were teachers, one cousin was a principal and a couple of my friends were teachers. So I have spent a lot of time growing up around teachers. One of the things you absolutely cannot do with younger children is make LEARNING uncomfortable. I normally wouldn't agree with Michael Knowles on anything, but his point about not making some book available to children UNTIL they are mature enough to understand them has merit. Where Kyle has a a very good point is on the hypocrisy of the Ben Shapiro's wanting to ban some books that push doctrines while their books specifically written to push a doctrine should be read in the classroom. But there's times when Kyles absolutism get's pretty stupid. Fine one kid might read "Mein Kampf" and realise Hitler was bonkers. Another kid might read "Mein Kampf" and go the complete Nazi. No matter what all these people want to push THERE MUST BE BALANCE and way to often there just isn't
