@johnnyharris Dud can you please sit down with an Australian and do just a bit of fact checking. Cane Toads were are actually native to Central and South America. We did get ours from Hawaii, which I actually didn't know. So we are both 1/2 right on that one. Emu is pronounced as eee - mue "e" sounding as the double "ee" in geek and the same "mue" as in mute or muse without the t or s. Its a long "U" sound not a short one like book. Nicely done on the balance of dingos and kanagroos. That's not often discussed here much. The stupid thing we do here is ignore the fact the dingoes are a wild dog that unlike so many others does not look like a wild dog. It looks a lot like an average domestic breed. On kangaroos there's an odd thing in Australia, most people don't eat them, which is odd as they were a staple part of the Aboriginal diet and its very lean, very healthy compared to fattier meats like beef and pork and also very tasty. One of my favorite recipes is spaghetti Bolognese made with Kangaroo mince which I call Kanganese. You are very right on one thing we have had a very European mentality to our nation and it has come at great expense for which we will be paying for a long time.
