If a glass of beer can kill a few 100 braincells then this guy is about 1/2 a glass form becoming a Flat Earther. I am an engineer. I find this sort of stuff incredibly frustrating because we end up having to WASTE TIME explaining why its BS instead of discussing solutions that can actually do some good. I have worked with electric motor controls for 30+ years and the idea of using regenerative braking to power CO2 removal is so idiotic its barely believable someone would publish something this stupid.

ENGINEER HERE: This video that Thunderf00t is busting is so egregious the entire ASAPScience channel should be BANNED from YouTube for peddling misinformation. @bok.. That's a good assessment and the problems start with just how badly the basics of math and science are taught. and most importantly how they relate to our everyday lives. One basic thing I try to get people to realise is the number of items they interact with every day that are either engineered or include engineering is in the 99.99% bracket. In any modern society there's almost NOTHING in your life that wasn't engineered or involved engineering at some point. Anything that's metal or plastic or went through a factory is easy to see as engineered, but also your food & clothing involves engineering at the process and delivery levels. Then people need to simply realise that engineering is the PRACTICAL application of math and science. I wish that was better explained but unfortunately we have social media clowns and underfunded education systems.

@SpeakerWiggin49 Yeah but Thunderf00t is actually an engineer abut only has 1M subscribers. These guys have 10.4M subscribers which means that at least 10.4M people are feeding their brains on this crap.

@Pooopers I wouldn't even put it at pushing green politics. I had a look at the channel and its claimed to be a "Making science make sense." and looking through their vids it just an endless pile of nonsense form clowns who know little about science.
