  1. There is actually a part of this "thing" that is based on a sound engineering principle which is vacuum distillation. They use the lower boiling point in vacuum to boil liquids. Its used in some water desalination processes like multi-stage flash distillation (see below) which is sometimes referred to as vacuum vapor compression or vapour compression. The desalination plant I worked on for a mine site had 2 of those types of unit and the supplier called it mechanical vapour compression and yes that confused everyone. BUT it's a totally different process because its salt water. And those systems use part of the process to recycle the heat so they have quite a high thermal/energy efficiency. Their downside is they operate at 1 speed. Reverse osmosis can be adjusted vacuum systems can't. Thunderf00t is totally right this thing is busted. Like Waterseer (stolen from Star Wars) and Theranos (stolen from Gattaca) they are preying on people who here things like "space technology" and "space vacuum" and think this is some NASA derived tech.
