  1. That's a great point. He really does show what sort of person he is. There's a real shame to this. I am an Australian aerospace engineer and have worked in our automotive sector before its demise. What Elon did in shaking up 2 major industries and getting them to change is actually amazing. YEs all of the hard work was done by people he employed, but he simply could have acknowledged that and claimed he was the guy who brought it all together. INSTEAD he wanted all the credit and what the gaming thing shows is that underneath it all he's an attention seeking narcissist. With Tesla there's an interview with the 2 guys who actually founded it and they describe how from the moment he arrived he had to flip the company into "its all about Elon." Did Elon raise Tesla's profile and shake up the car industry? YES, but he was only part of it NOT all of it. With SpaceX did Elon tap into a group of frustrated engineers who knew they could build better rockets than Boeing and others? YES and he was damn lucky to have those engineers available. From an engineering perspective the Falcon Rockets and Crew Dragon have been an outstanding success and especially when judged against Boeing's Starliner. BUT THEN Elon had to have the "biggest rocket" forgetting whether its practical or needed. Yeah Starship and the chopstick catcher is spectacular BUT IS IT REALLY NEEDED or is it just an ego trip?
