  1. That's a great point. As an engineer I hate these people because they confuse the crap out of the general public with what we can and can't do. You've pointed out a major issue with these for vehicles. Even when there are good technologies they often confuse people about what those technologies can and can't do. In this video above there's a reference to the liquid metal battery. That's a technology that's been developed by MIT Professor Donald Sadoway. He's cofounded the company Ambri to manufacture them. That's a technology that has great potential for FIXED (not mobile) energy storage. As in things like community batteries. So its shame that clowns like Matt Farrell are confusing people with garbage because some of its NOT garbage but most people can;t tell what is and isn't garbage.
