  3. Thank you for being honest about the techno-hype that is AI. I'm an aerospace engineer who works in control systems, automation and robotics. I'm so over the clowns in media who just take whatever PR they are handed and just open their mouths spew crap. When I did my degree I had to take humanities classes so that I became a "well rounded person." How come NOBODY doing an arts degree has to do even the most basic class in engineering so that they know what we do, what sorts of technicians we need to get it done, and what's science fiction and what's real?

  4.  @artemirrlazaris7406  That's the perfect description of what these programs do. They mimic a specific human action and no matter what the processing power they are only capable of doing what's in their coding. The whole idea that AI will save the human race or that it is actually intelligent is a fantasy pushed by liars, charlatans and gullible media. As an engineer I hate the misrepresentations of technology in the media. There's another comment by an assistant professor Henrik Løvold you should look at.
