@malinadeline Either of those would be a great choice, but would be even better is having both Eagle and Owl argue/discuss them not just one of them.

It all depends on what the Puppet Masters at the Federalist Society tell the SCOTUS puppets what to say.

@libertatem_aut_mori_conatur Yeah I'd agree but that's modern politics. Its at times damn nasty and vicious INISDE the parties. Look at how the Dems treated Bernie Sanders TWICE. I'm actually Australian but went to college in America and it pains me to see what's happening. Being honest we have similar problems here just like they have problems everywhere. I have a friend who was right into politics in his college days here in Australia. He told me about how nasty and vicious it is at the student level. When I asked why? He told me the parties want people who can fight causes. So they use student politics like the Hunger Games to find out who can really fight and NOT CARE what it takes to win.

Thanks for simply informing us all what is and isn't in the 25th and how it might work.

YOUR'RE A LAWYER - You should apologize every time you wake up in the morning still breathing oxygen that would be better spent on any other living organism.
1
What should you do when you see a lawyer limping down the street? Reload, take aim, breath and remember the most important thing squeeze the trigger, don't jerk at it.
1
What do you call a plane load of insurance lawyers crashing into a building full of banking lawyers? A Bonus Score.
1
Dan Quayles ITS SPELT POTATOE! A bus load of lawyers goes over a cliff - WHAT'S the tragedy? The driver was a good an decent person trying to support his family and gets his kids through college working an extra job.
1
Dan Quayles ITS SPELT POTATOE! Last week a lawyer was bitten by a poisonous snake. Veterinarians are reporting that the snake is expected to make a full recovery.

Dan Quayles ITS SPELT POTATOE! What should you do when you see a lawyer limping down the street. Reload, take better aim, b...r...e...a...t...h and STOP wasting bullets.
1
Dan Quayles ITS SPELT POTATOE! What's the difference between zombies and lawyers. First: One's an apocalypse from our worst nightmares. The other one is already here. Second: There are clear and concise ways way to get rid of zombies - bullet, spear, axe, machete, sword,........ Third: One of them bites you in the NECK before turning you into a mindless husk. The other one of them bites you in the WALLET before turning you into a mindless husk.

When America and its allies are charged with the same crime for the Invasion of Iraq then we can agree on charging Putin with War Crimes. No doubt Putin is a POS who deserves to be tried, but lets not forget that 170,000 innocent Iraqi civilians died or the abuses of prisoners at Abu Ghraib and Bagram AFB or the abomination that the prison at Gitmo is.

HEY LEGAL EAGLE: You claim Trump has NO "S-Tier" Lawyers, but I thought all his Lawyers were SHlT! Its would also explain why he goes through them like toilet paper. What else do you use to wipe up SHlT?
1
@loganmedia1142 Fair call, but I was being sarcastic and how many times in our lives do we get to be sarcastic at the expense of a lawyer who doesn't work for Rupert Murdoch?

@tugger I don't think Eagle meant that Orwell parodied Marx but more like that Marxist line was parodied in Animal Farm. Yeah its a fine point, but you can just as easily claim that Animal Farm parodied the entire Soviet system rather than any specific person or leader in that system. I'm Australian but went to college in America (late 80s). I'd done both Animal Farm and 1984 in high school and couldn't believe that most Americans had no idea that either book existed let alone what they contained. So for any American to get it even 1/2 right is better than nothing.

AUSTRALIAN HERE with an outside view (question). How does America expect the rest of the World to do business with America after this? I'll remind you all of the Steven Donziger case where he was jailed for representing Ecuadorian's who'd successfully sued Texaco (now owned by Chevron) over their environmental damage in "the Lago Agrio oil field of Ecuador. The Ecuadorian court awarded the plaintiffs $9.5 billion ($12.7 billion in 2023 dollars) in damages, which led Chevron to withdraw its assets from Ecuador and launch legal action against Donziger in the US. In 2011, Chevron filed a RICO (anti-corruption) suit against Donziger in New York City." (Wikipedia). How are we supposed to do business with American entities (government or private) that have no respect for local laws and do damage (or worse) in our countries when they will drag it back to the US Court System where ultimately SCTOUS will adjudicate? FYI - Chevron has assets in Australia most notably the Gorgon Project based on the environmentally sensitive Barrow Island of the coast of Western Australia. So far Chevron has extracted billions of dollars in LNG exports, failed to get their carbon sequestration system working and PAID NO TAXES. AND BEFORE you ask: YES both the Australian Federal government and West Australian state government are at fault for letting Chevron get away with what they are getting away with.

@GenSecAI79 America is the only country in the world where positions like judges, prosecutors (as in district attorneys or state attorneys) and police chiefs (or sheriffs) are directly elected. So for those positions there is no other qualification than being able to convince people you can do the job.

@thekaiser4333 WHY - to prove that the rest of us NOT the bottom of the barrel. The odd thing is that several legal commentators mentioned that in the past (before this garbage) she had a very good reputation. And all the comments like that were basically framed as "what TF happened." When comparing her to others who ruined their lives you can bet in future there'll be a YT "Top 10 People Who Ruined their Reputation/Career/Life" and she'll be on it.

How about the fact that this is now the TOP comment according to YouTubes Algorithm to arguably the most important question in the planet at this moment. Mind you the list goes on. #2: Lil Wayne's Pardon #3: Future history lessons about if this & Nixon and who was the bigger asshole #4: A comparison to the TV show Futurama #5 Christian Bale's potential to play Trump in a future movie #6 "its official Legal Eagle isn't sleeping" #7 the quote “Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.” ― Voltaire #8 a vote of no confidence in Chancellor Valorum’s (star Wars notorious Darth Sidious) leadership When you get to the 11th by JJ McCullough you actually get a thread on the 25th. Maybe that's the problem NOT EVEN AMERICA takes this that seriously.

@lauraallen661 The real problem with those "brain washed" is that we now have to start dealing with WHY? As in why were they so easy for Trump to grab and run with. Because a lot of other countries haven't done that either. The snot nosed brats in London still haven't asked why they lost Brexit. The snot nosed brats in the European Parliament haven't asked how they go smashed from 2 directions (Green populists from the left & Nationalist Populists from the right). Establishment parties are getting hammered across the world and they all refuse to answer WHY. I just watched this with Krystal & Saagar form the Hill -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98pOyHd7Rss They're odd because she's a lefty and he's a right winger. They both raged about the billionaire class whining about Gamestop. I recommend watching any of Mark Blyth on Trumpism or Angrynomics and you'll understand that Trump took advantage of a slab of America that was so disenfranchised they would have followed anybody who wasn't from the establishment. He then took their frustrations and anger and twisted it into this confused catastrophe. In that respect of weaponizing frustration he did the same as Robespierre did in France, Stalin did in Russia and Hitler did in Germany. Getting rid of Trump was a great first step. NOT getting those $2000 stimulus checks out IMMEDIATELY was a dreadful 2nd step. That should have been Biden's FIRST Executive order He should have rammed it down congress's collective throat. The welfare of the American people comes first.

HOW ABOUT WE GET RID OF USELESS LAWYERS WHO DON'T BELIEVE IN THE LAW? Merrick Garland Failed Jack Smith Failed And teams of other lawyers FAILED to deal with a criminal.
1
@jraulerson3081 Exactly and all the stupid M0R0NIC legal minds who have BULLSHlTTED and BULLSHlTTED and BULLSHlTTED on for the last 4 years have TOTALLY FAILED to uphold basic laws. I am totally over all these Lawyers and their there garbage intellectual discussions because they NOW MEAN NOTHING. They have done more damage to the human race than Spanish Flu and Ebola combined. What does the law even mean anymore thanks to them?
1
@Beer_Dad1975 No, but he's one of a long list of people who wanted their country to be a better place and went to jail for it. That's the difference between Nelson Mandela and Donald Trump. One wanted his country to be great and went to jail trying to make it great and was awarded a Nobel Prize for his efforts. The other talks about making his country great as he swindles and grifts it for all he can get and got upset when a teenage girl was awarded a Nobel Prize instead of him and has avoided any accountability for a staggering list of crimes any one of which would put a normal person in jail.
1
And does that make it any different from the 4 years of lunacy he was in the Whitehouse?????? One of his fanbots was screaming at me earlier today about Hilary Clinton!! Another was screaming about Hunter Biden. I don't what they'll be screaming about next, but I expect it will be loud.
1
@AzyrealLal "Going to" is more of a case of "already happening." The only real difference is that America does everything louder so we hear about it a lot more.

19:04 I'd beat her arguments with the Chewbacca defense.

@aravindiyengar How about the whole film?
1
@michaelfowler2603 I don't know if its the reason why cops suspect everyone BUT its certainly part of why they have to treat everyone that way. It comes form this BS lawyers all believe in called the "adversarial method" as in the other side (who ever they are) is your enemy and this is combat and as such they are your adversary.
1
That's sadly closer to the truth than most people realise. Just look at the recent debacle with Trumps 2nd Impeachment. Mitch McConnell said YES Trump was responsible for the riot and then said NO he can't be held accountable. That sad Orwellian Logic is being played out across the entire globe in one form or another. Modern politics operates like: *"We know this is true but we are going to ignore it and do the worst thing possible for our future!" Emily Calandrelli (an aerospace engineer) did a very good TEDx talk on getting people to to take a better approach to discussing climate change. In it she mentioned that the Pentagon were working out how many billions it was going to cost to maintain their bases around the world. And that its a real cost that every American will have to pay for. Here's the Tedx talk she gave in 2018 -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9haKpJakU4 Here's the Pentagon report that was PUBLICLY released for ALL the world to see in January 2019 -> https://media.defense.gov/2019/Jan/29/2002084200/-1/-1/F1/CLIMATE-CHANGE-REPORT-2019.PDF

Yeah but so far no one has definitively said what those devices are or actually confirmed they existed. With that crowd nothing should surprise anyone. Its fairly well known they like their guns and have been stockpiling ammunition. I'm surprised only 4 people died. I know there is a lot of negative talk about the police, but maybe (and its only a maybe) they've learned how to NOT escalate these situations or were told to not escalate. This could have been way worse than it was.

What SCARES the rest of the world is 74 million people who thought Trump should have a second term. What SCARES a lot of people around the world EVEN MORE is that the Democrats still haven't explained that if Trump was so bad (and many of us agree with that sentiment) then how come and extra 11 million people turned up for him in 2020 than did in 2016. I'm Australian and we heard again and again how his numbers were dropping. EVEN Fox News reported his numbers were dropping and yet on election day another 11 million turned up. CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHERE THOSE 11 Million CAME FROM?
1
To be perfectly honest Eagle Boy, this is all fairly pathetic bureaucratic nonsense as people just delay, delay, hope and delay that they don't have to make an actual decision. The level of cowardice by Garland and others just shows how broken the American system is. In any other country in the world Trump and others would have been in jail as fast as authorities could have gotten to them after January 6th. They would have been refused bail, faced trial and been sentenced by now. In more than a few nations some of the leaders would already have been EXECUTED. Sorry buddy but you and the rest of the Legal profession have ruined America with a relentless flood of garbage, nonsense and shitfuckery over the last few decades.

@bodyloverz30 The fact you call a riot where the capitol was stormed, 5 people (including a police officer died) and the American flag was torn down and replaced with another flag, A GATHERING, shows just how detached from reality you are. A legal election was held as per the constitution. The votes were counted as per the constitution. In several places those votes were recounted as per the constitution. Cases were heard and rejected by the courts over 50 times as per the constitution. The electoral college representatives were selected as per the constitution. The electoral college met and voted as per the constitution. Trump lost as per the constitution. Trump is the tyrant who refuses to follow the constitution and anybody interfering with the outcome of the election is an enemy of the constitution.

The FIRST hint should have been its done by a company registered in Hong Kong. The SECOND hint should have been the managers surname "Yip" as in its not Wallace, Bruce, Stuart, Taggart McTavish, McDonald, McIntyre or any of the other 100+ SCOTTISH family names. The THIRD hint should have been this mainly targeted Americans the most IGN0RANT nation on the planet when it comes to ANYTHING that happens outside their country. What next, maybe someone in Nigeria or Russia will start selling parts of Australia or Canada so they can claim 1st nations land title status; or some part of Japan and call themselves Samurai; or some best of all some part of Harlem so they can claim they are a Warlord.
