Another Australian here - I agree. At times I find George typically American with some of his views in that he's a bit more free market & libertarian than I like, but in general he's way more honest and gives better explanations than most of the economic clowns who peddle fantasies and nonsense. Just so we are clear I think the "free market" is great for somethings and in particular manufactured goods where there is genuine choice. But on the flip side I think its idiotic for some other things like power and water. The problem isn't that they need controlling the problem has always been putting competent people in charge. On Libertarians, I actually went to university in America. So I know them better than most Australians. I 100% support their basic claims on freedom and liberty but hit a hard stop when it gets to the point where they demand the liberty to strip other people of their liberties.

George - Correct me if I am wrong. The problem with creating a Trillion in T-Bills is the same as creating or manufacturing any other type of product for sale and that is somebody (or a lot of somebodies) HAS TO BUY THEM. For every $1 in T-bills sold $1 in CASH has to come from somewhere and to sell $1Trillion in T-bills means a $1Trillion in cash has to come from somewhere. The problem is where is that somewhere and what effects does that have? This is the sort of thing I have seen Stephanie Kelton (off MMT fame) and Gary Stevenson the British economist (ex-Citibank trader) try and get people to understand. When the government PRINTS CASH the question is where is that cash going and what the government got for it? When the government PRINTS TREASURIES or BONDS and sells them then where did the cash to buy them come from?

WHAT WOULD BE MAGIC IS IF ONE OF GEORGE'S PREDICTIONS CAME TRUE. I remember one of the first video's I saw from George was about the Bank of International Settlements report into FX-Swaps and how he was PREDICTING another Black Swan event where the world could end. Do I think George is pretty smart and has a sound understanding of markets? YES ABSOLUTELY. Do I also think he's informative with good explanations? YES ABSOLUTELY. Do I think he needs to be more careful with his predictions? YES ABSOLUTELY.

@eemapalmer530 I spent time in California and YES the various climate regions in Cal have similar places in Australia. Southern Cal is climatically similar to Perth Western Australia while Northern Cal which is colder is more like Victoria, Tasmania and the South coast of New South Wales. The stetch between LA & San Fran is sort of like the NSW central coast.
