  1.  @miarrem  I'm Australian but went to college in America. I love the place, love the people, love parts of the culture BUT HATE THEIR POLITICS. I was actually in Canada for work in late 2017 when Trump slapped the Canadians with tariffs while he tore up NAFTA. I remember how stunned the Canadians were. The lesson from that is NOBODY can trust Trump. The more important question is: How TF did Trump win in 2016 and then win again in 2024? The answer is fairly simple. Politics at its best is fairly toxic, but when you throw poisonous snakes like Rupert Murdoch into the mix it gets even worse. Do you know the 2004 documentary "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism" PREDICTED that the rest of the media would follow his business model that included "opinion presented as fact"? Just yesterday, in reply to a similar comment I'm making right now an American replied to me that MSNBC do the same thing. I replied back pointing out what was predicted in Outfoxed. This is the problem we have all across the world right now. It doesn't matter if its Putin, Trump or some other narcissist. If they can find the right buttons to push via BOTH mainstream and social media they can manipulate the outcomes of almost any election. The real culprit on Brexit was actually the American billionaire Robert Mercer who funded Cambridge Analytica. He used Brexit as an experiment for his "proof of concept." Analyse what people like doing on social media, just like we are all doing right now and then the algorithms feed those people more and more of the same thing, BUT ALSO target them with specific adds. We don't see much of the targeted advertisements here on YouTube but its rampant on other platforms like Facebook and Twitter/X. Look at how Elon Musk just mobilised millions of young men to vote for Trump.

  2.  @arjan2777  You're 1/2 right in that its not the same because Trump can't just lock people up BUT WAIT he's is saying RIGHT NOW he wants to lock up the "criminals" who were on the January 6th commission. AND LETS NOT FORGET what his new head of the FBI wants to do. It will be interesting and maybe frightening to see what they actually do. Do you know there are lawyers already advising people who were in the Biden Whitehouse to be outside America on inauguration day? Its just incase Trump starts cancelling passports.
