  1. CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE GET YOUR DEFINITIONS RIGHT The word "woke" (and anyone can look this up on Wikipedia) came out of African American Blues music in the 1950s. It was a way of saying "awake" in 1 syllable to fit the music score. It had no application to anyone or anything except the ECONOMIC PLIGHT of African Americans. It had nothing to do with LGBT or any other social justice cause until a few years ago when idiotic social justice warriors HIJACKED the word for their own political sloganism. This is something the Radical Left do from time to time. They also hijacked the word "progressive." They do this as a way of making themselves look like a much larger block of society than they are. THE PROBLEM is the Radical Right then weaponize the public discussion using these HIJACKED words to hyper-polarise the public discussion. This hijacking and weaponizing of words is ONE OF the WORST things going on at the moment. It screws up every public discussion it comes up in and instead of discussing solutions we are constantly trying to REDEFINE PROBLEMS that are already well defined.
