  1. From Australia - that is a brilliant comment. The number of politicians around the world who make everything into 1 thing THEY CAN BLAME is kind of staggering AND IT ALL COMES from the incessant behavior of the media to blow everything they can out of proportion. Mark Blyth the Scottish political economist who NEEDS to be on the show has said repeatedly the media has found a new product to sell "rage" as in you pump whatever will enrage your audience and keep them engaged. He said its overtaken "sex sells" as the #1 product selling method. The Left are as guilty as the Right on this too.

  2.  @coffeecupman  great point. i think that a lot of democratic parties know they will eventually lose an election so they are always willing to let the next government clean up or deal with the problems they don't want to. besides it also gives them a great chance to BLAME the next government for their mistakes.
