He's still got feet and meters confused like many American's do. The Tallest turbines in the world are about 1,000ft high NOT 1,000m

@invaderjoshua6280 Oh you have to be a farking zoomer with that sort of comment. WTF is an "older millennial"? 30 isn't old. I'm an Australian Gen-X who went to college in America. I was raised on metric and had plenty of fun explaining it to my Gen-X class mates. FYI - I did aerospace engineering. And yes I know all about a couple of space probes where they got metric & imperial confused. How did Jim Gaffigan put it? "Metric is so hard. Dividing and multiply by 10s is so confusing." In future be careful with metric comments until you know which country people are from.

@Antropovich meticulous is spelt with a 'e' not an 'a' but then am I being facetious meticulous or both?

@Antropovich Good clarification anyway.

@Antropovich Take note of the little red line under words. At the very least it means that spell check doesn't recognise the word. (It just did it for me. I hit ; instead of ' in the word doesn't) Fair call on the languages. Whenever I do use another language, which isn't often, I'll use google translate. I know its not perfect so I always include my original English. If I am translating someone else's comment I'll ask if the translation is what they meant.

@mrspaceman2764 That's also a distinct possibility.

@invaderjoshua6280 If you want to know where its just bonkers. Try aviation (I have a pilots license) Altitude is in feet. Speed is on knots or miles per hour. Weather is in kilometers of visibility. Navigation can be in almost anything including parsecs. Fuel can be in gallons, litres, pounds and/or kilograms depending on the plane your flying.

@JR-N-TX Go and type "tallest wind turbine" into google and it will come back that the largest are 1,000ft NOT 1,000m. I just checked and the Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai is (according to Wikipedia) the worlds tallest structure at 829.8 m (2,722 ft)
