I think you'll find that every time he's said Biden would win and win by a long way there were conditions and a few times Peter mentioned his age but NOT as the number 1 item on the list AND ITS NOW number 1 on the list. So it would be interesting to see Peter do a thorough review of Bidens current state because I don't think anyone outside of the Whitehouse knew how bad Joe had gotten. The debate was a catastrophe and the interviews since disasters. In a very short time Biden went from "He's viable because he's NOT Trump!" to He's not there and he is NOT fit to do the job. The jokes about Biden not realising he was trying to change TV channels with the nuclear football aren't so funny right now. The major issue is how do the Democrats deal with it and so far their campaign of denial, denial and more denial is only making things worse.

@jnc07res I'm Australian and from the outside looking in Kamala is the Dr Phil candidate. You know when Dr. Phil says "WHAT were you thinking?" Have they forgotten just how awful she was as a campaigner 4 years ago in the primaries? She could NOT even win her home state. She was picked as another "DO nothing, SAY nothing, THINK nothing VP" who's only task was to wave, smile and make Biden look good (or at least better) in 2020. For Trump the only thing that might be as good as Joe refusing to go would be the DNC stomping on everyone else to give Kamal the nod. The one thing I have seen NOBODY suggest would be someone like Gavin Newsom running and Kamal staying on as VP because that would freak Trump out. But I doubt her ego would take that.
