  1. On the last question ZIP because its gold that is NOT being traded on the normal markets. If that gold does hit the markets through the countries that Russia has sent it to then that might be another story all together. On the production thing just remember this war started with America ALSO IN TRANSITION. One of the most noted cases was the Ukrainian consumption of Stinger missiles early on. Even though America sent them their oldest stock which in some cases was already marked for disposal - the Ukrainians blew through it. The problem is America was between generations of the Stinger missile and notably the guidance chips needed to make them operate. The old production line was already gone and the new one wasn't ready. So it wasn't simply a matter of making missiles there was a shortage of guidance chips that was expected to take 2-3 years to solve. Where that is right now I have not heard. The same sorts of production issues exist for EVERYTHING because everything just like the medical supplies during COVID and all the consumer goods after COVID has all been exposed - has gone to JIT (just in time) production.
