  1. That's an incredibly valid point and its exactly what the British did for centuries and extensively during WW1 and WW2. I'm Australian and they got so many Australian and New Zealanders killed in WW1 that it crippled Australia's growth until the post WW2 Baby Boom. You can go to almost any country town in Australia and there's a memorial with the names of those lost in "The Great War" as it was called at the time. If you look at those names you can see the names of families where they lost an entire generation of sons. I have a good friend who's Scottish and he says the Brits did the same with the Scots, Irish and Welsh for centuries.
