I'm Australian and that has to be one of the smartest most well thought out comments ANY American has said in my lifetime and considering how stupid the world sees Americans these days that's praise you wont hear too much.

@DejaView America has 330 million people and with the university system it has you should expect there to be some seriously smart well educated people. The proof is in technologies that have come out of America which are pretty damn incredible. But that doesn't change the basic fact that 50% of the population (just like everywhere else) has an IQ of 100 or less. We have 26 million in Australia and that means we have 13 million people with an IQ of 100 or less and NOTHING can change that fact. All any country can do is deal with it RESPONSIBLY and make sure everyone has a fair chance of a decent life.
