  1. The one thing that almost every right wing government in history has UNDERSTOOD is that the left think politics should be FAIR. I'm Australian and we love to brag to the world about how beautiful our reefs & beaches are and how amazing our wildlife is, but we are also the world champions of species extinction. The Great Barrier Reef, one of the worlds greatest treasures is, along with our river systems, under threat from mismanagement and greed. We are also right up there with uncontrolled land clearing. We keep voting in Right wing governments because they understand how people vote. The ugly reality is that people vote AGAINST what they are SCARED of or what they are ANGRY about or who they can BLAME.
