  1. That might be absolutely true, but if the world pushes Putin into a corner with no way out what the hell do you think he'll do? Go look at what Sun-Tzu said about dealing with an enemy where the only way to defeat them is so destructive its untenable. You have to give them a golden bridge to go over. Basically a way to exit that's acceptable. The West needs to understand that we pushed NATO right up to the border of Russia and that it would one day come back to bite.
