  1. It actually goes a lot further pack than McConnell's deals with Trump. It goes all the way back to Reagan and Reaganomics. According to Brown U. Prof Mark Blyth (who 's seriously smart) our current issues really started with Reaganomics which was just the American version of what he calls neo-liberalism and that was all about crushing the working and middle classes it just took 40 years to get there as the top 1% made off with around $50 trillion. Every economic model runs its course and then needs a reset. We should have had a reset after the 2008 GFC and it didn't happen, because people like McConnell just kept doing as they do and not caring. 12 years later none of the real issues facing most people (like jobs and wages) have been solved. The frustrations that have been building for decades allowed a narcissistic sociopath like Trump to take advantage. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️
