  1. She started with a totally valid point about NOT making these sort of appointments political and then got totally stuck on the SIV question where she played the misdirection. She might actually be a valid sensible appointment and her being asked to resign might be the wrong decision. BUT when you are an advisor to a political campaign and then get a political appointment you have to accept that you'll eventually be asked about all sorts of related things if you do an interview like this. Your right all she did was do a lot of avoidance, which is the hallmark of a career politician.
