Its a year later and right now Tesla has been valued at MORE than the 10 largest car companies combined. NOBODY in the economics, financial or investment spaces are saying "Buy Tesla!" As an engineer do I think Tesla is an amazing achievement? Absolutely. Only an idiot would admit that it hasn't changed the car market and the way the general public perceives electric vehicles. However when it breaks and every over-hyped investment in history has eventually broke it will be catastrophic. Since most of you have commented we have all seen the Crypto bubble burst as well as Elon's twitter disaster.

@pjacobsen1000 That's NOT the point or have your forgotten that Theranos was once worth $9 Billion. How can Tesla in any sensible evaluation be worth more than the 10 largest car companies combined when it only makes a fraction of what they do? Lets not forget it doesn't pay any dividends like a few other infamous tech giants. Have you ever heard of the PE Ratio of a stock? it stands for Price Earnings. Do you know Tesla's PE ratio is ZERO because you actually have to start paying shareholders a dividend cos nothing divided by anything is still nothing. Go ask any stockbroker with a functioning brain if its worth buying.
