Yeah and its the same everywhere across the developed world. I'm Australian and we have these sorts too, just not as many and they are always saying the same sorts of ridiculous crap because they get all of the information from idiots. They all claim to do research but their idea of research is to listen to some narcissist who tells them what they want to hear.

I'm Australian and have a SSN. I went to college in America (late 80s) and got one when I arrived. It never entitled me to anything other than to be in America and go to college. I had what David said is a restricted SSN. Every nation has some way to identify people who are there for longer than just a temporary trip. As in a holiday or to see friends or for business. I'm an engineer and plenty of people come to Australia for projects and some of those last several years. Because they are hear for so long and have to pay tax on their wages they have to be given an Australian Tax File Number. If they are staying long enough they also get an Australian Medicare number. There's nothing abnormal about this. We have the same types of people speaking the same fearmongering here and they get shot down every time with FACTS. But then fact never seem to stop these people.

We just had a healthy 27 year old die suddenly in Australia from the Delta strain. He was on day 13 of a 14 day isolation. He was unvaccinated he was being monitored at home which we do in Australia for home quarantine. He suddenly just went down. That news is fresh its shocking. We had done such a great job isolating our entire nation and now we have Delta on the verge of being out of control. -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUNxzMad3ts YouTube and Twitter just banned a couple of clowns from our media and 1 sitting member of our parliament for posting false and misleading information. I know Sagaar Enjeti at Breaking points brought that up and he was WRONG on several key points. Kyle Kulinski also discussed that issue and he is also WRONG on several points. Spreading misinformation about vaccines and COVID is NOT a matter of free speech it is a matter of PUBLIC SAFETY.
67
And you all wonder why the rest of the developed world laughs at the American Health care system.
64
I believe we are well beyond pattern and the correct term to use is "pathology."

In answer to your first question. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toledo in 1980 and received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri in 1984. And BOTH those schools and every medical authority needs to yank her credentials and licenses. But this isn't even the worst of her crap. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherri_Tenpenny#COVID-19_misinformation

I don't know if he's on drug right now, but without any doubt there's been some serious damage from what he has done in the past. I think his biggest problem right now is trying to find a way to get out of the hole he's dug. Like a few others he backed Trump 100% and threw tons of his own money behind it. trying to accept he was conned must be devastating on top of the fact he's got damage from previous addiction. In some ways I feel sorry for the guy and other ways I just wished people would just stop giving him air time so that we can all move past this.

Where do you start - Corruption - Conspiracy to Pervert the course of justice - Perverting the course of justice - Violation of civil rights As for Kapaln his links to Chevron have been well documented around the world. Krystal & Sagaar, Kyle Kulinski and others have been on this for weeks. Its good to see David finally discussing it.
30
David's missing 1 point - the pro-Trumpers don't care what's true and/or what's provable. They operate in another reality with alternate facts and in that reality the Trumps are God's chosen saviors and everyone else is a traitor or liar or delusional clown. Rudy's playing to that crowd and they will believe whatever he says just as they have been doing for months.
29
He's a narcissistic sociopath, who's been allowed to get away with every thing he's ever done. What else do you expect.
29
Shite man are you trying to be logical with them? Its hard to be logical with people who think "Everything they do is patriotic and Anything else is a crime"
28
@gravanon1577 Correctio: Its easier to be a BRAINDEAD DK-HED than a sensible person because one requires the incredible effort of thinking and the other doesn't.
28
There's a concept called "strict liability" and its everywhere in every nation. I found out about it when I got my pilots license because all aviation law world wide is "strict liability." What it means is any law classified as strict liability ignores what you DID or DIDN'T KNOW. Nothing matters - if you broke that law you broke that law and you have to face what the laws says. That's why its called strict - if you did it there are no excuses. He's broken an aviation law and there is NO WAY out of it. Its now possible for ANY pilot (private or commercial) to refuse to fly him anywhere for the rest of his life. It probably wont happen in practice, but it is possible because the paramount rule any and all pilots is the "safety of the flight." So its possible that ANY airline pilot can refuse to have him on board citing "safety reasons." Its one of those things a few idiot rock stars & actors have found out after they went nuts on flights.

No its actually a propaganda machine, its straight out of the playbook of the Soviet newspaper Pravda ->https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pravda

As an Australian there are moments like this I feel like we cannot apologise to the world enough for the existence of Keith Rupert Murdoch or his family. We warned the Brits what he was like when he moved there and they didn't listen. We tried to warn America when he moved there and very few listened there as well. Some of the few who did produced the 2004 documentary "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism" which details how he operates.

I'm Australian but went to college in the late 80s. I did engineering but a pack of my frat brothers were pre-law so I ended up in many discussion about the US Constitution. I am staggered at what's happened. FIRST - that civics is no longer taught because Americans WERE once proud that they knew and understood their country and how it functioned better than other people from other nations understood their constitutions. They were stunned how little I knew of the Australian Constitution. SECOND - I am amazed that things like the Patriot Act exist, as it stomps on the 4th Amendment. Of all the Amendments we ever discussed the 4th was the most discussed. They all looked at Soviet Russia and the Eastern Block and said "NO - we will not have that stuff." THIRD - (And I used to raise this) What would happen when America was faced with an angry frustrated mob that didn't care. My way of putting it back then was "What do you think a starving person would do - accept the money in your right hand or kill you for the hamburger in your left hand." In those days there was the famine in Ethiopia and Iran-Contra and my point was: "Selling guns and bombs to maniacs wasn't sound foreign policy." And that was over a decade before 9/11, Iraq, Afghanistan, Benghazi and lots of other stuff. What I was totally wrong about was that I never guessed the real threat to America was coming from its far right. In those days there was a series of sex scandals and fraud scandals with the fundamentalist preachers. So we all thought the far radical right were done. From everything my frat brothers and others told me this is NOT the America the founding fathers envisioned or wanted. I truly do hope America finds a way back from this madness.

One of Asimov's great observations. Another of his that someone else pointed out last year is: “There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.” ― Isaac Asimov, News Week, 1980.

I'm an Australian and one of my best mates is a Glaswegian. The saddest part of this is when I look over my shoulder we have them here too. Just the other day they started ranting about the Pfizer vaccine being used here and making wild claims. One person who actually claimed to have a 20 year background in biotech claimed the Pfizer vaccine was "experimental gene therapy." Unfortunately I have another friend with a PhD in Recombinant DNA Research who explained to me years ago how he did his work. Another person claimed the Pfizer vaccine was even registered as "gene therapy." Unfortunately for that clown I was easily able to find our governments website on that and download the documents and SHOW EVERYONE that, that was a fabrication. Sadly I think EVERY country has its idiots and that social media has given them a soap box to share their collective stupidity.
25
You're not alone on that point. There's a lot of comments along the line of how much of a disappointment she's turned out to be.
24
Go back to David's interview with Yanis Varoufakis who said crypto's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. He also called the pro-crypto people dangerously ignorant and explained why. Prof Mark Blyth had a great answer to a Bitcoin question. He said its a joke if you think its money. For money to be money its got to be 3 things - a unit of account, a unit of exchange and a way to store value. Its just too volatile to be any of those things. He said the Chinese central bank had the best description its "digital gambling asset". Mark Blyth also pointed out that the printing of money is one of the cornerstones of state power. He said if you threaten that you get a Cersei Lannister solution. Crypto has all the hall marks of a techno fad with a lot of fanbots claiming it to be the savior of humanity or next great thing. It has adherents who know nothing about even basic economics. Its just another over hyped technology and they are buying into the fad. What everybody forgets is that, because its a finite system for every winner on Bitcoin there's a loser who had paid for that win. Its just like the advertising for casino's and gambling - they never talk about the losers who pay for other people to win. NONE of the pro-crypto people talk about those people who have lost at crypto let alone those who have lost everything.

NO what Lindsay is actually saying is "If I don't do this and scream endlessly to protect Trump with everything I have he'll release the damning blackmail he has on me!" Remember how Lindsey was as anti-Trump as any of the GOP ever was and then Trump had a very short meeting with him out on a golf course and INSTANTLY Lindsey flipped into an ardent Trump bootlicker. WHAT DID TRUMP SAY to Lindsey out on that golf course????????
24
Don't forget he's just claimed the judges are corrupt, but he appointed many of those judges.
24
As a U. of Illinois graduate all I can say is I'm sorry. Every University in the world has those they should never have let in let alone graduate - she's one of ours. 🤷♂️🤷♀️

Americans and all other Westerners NEED to pay attention to this because its a great example of the use of political 1/2 truths. The problem with political 1/2 truths is that because of the bit that's true THE LIE gets credibility and gets believed or accepted by the audience. ITS TRUE America (the mainland) was never bombed during WW1 or WW2 or during the Wars in Korea, Vietnam, Kuwait, Iraq, or Afghanistan BUT IGNORES THE FACTS THAT 1000s and 1000s of Americans were in those conflicts and DIED in those conflicts. IT IGNORES the incredible expense paid by the American people in straight financial cost of those conflicts. IT IGNORES the fact Parts of America have been attacked in the past Hawaii and the Aleutians in WW2. Washington was actually invaded and parts of it burned to the ground buy the British during the War of 1812 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burning_of_Washington. What about New York and 9/11 or the wars that followed? Aren't those scars enough for Tucker to be proud of being American? Aren't all the 1000s of American service men and women who died in Iraq & Afghanistan enough for Tucker to be proud of being American? Aren't all the 1000s and 1000s of American service men and women with permanent damage from serving in Iraq & Afghanistan enough for Tucker to be proud of being American? You see when you tell a political 1/2 truth its then very easy to tell lies and have the audience believe them or for the audience to completely ignore historical facts
23
I'm Australian but went to college and did my degree in America in the late 80s. I sort of saw this coming. I can remember channel surfing and coming across these freaked out bible bashing fundamentalists. When ever I asked about them people just dismissed them as "fringe" others were "Yeah we know its a problem but don't know how to fix it" because there is no cure for being stupid. I love America, I love the good parts of American culture but they have let this nonsense get so far out of control in the last 20-30 years that its hard seeing America continue. More than anything America needs to deal with its billionaire class and deal with it soon and YES I know Rupert Murdoch was born in Australia.
23
Lets show how well educated we are by protesting against bigotry by being bigots.
23
You are almost right. Trump ALWAYS has a plan to help himself, but NEVER has a plan for helping others.
23
I'm Australian and worked with many South Africans over the past 30+ years and that stunned me. She might have been born there and lived there but if true then she has been in America for a LONG TIME. I actually went to America for college and was there for 3-1/2 years. Even after 3-/12 years people knew I was still Australian. I have seen Australians who have lived in America a lot longer and none of them changed so much that you could not tell they weren't Australian because there's individual words they'd pronounce that don't change. There's not a single word she spoke that had that Dutch-English hybrid the South Africans have.
23
Oh yeah I got that. She's the classic self righteous ivory tower academic who knows stuff. She thinks being right about some things makes her right about everything. As for academics and their "empirical data" how many scandals involving data manipulation odes it take before they STOP using those sorts of claims.
22
@paradiso4562 Well I just got a reply that said "Thank You" so why don't you take your uneducated ignorance somewhere else or do I need to explain what ignorance means.
22
I don't know about that but she's certainly pandering to that side of politics. David's analysis of here 80second is fairly much right on the mark. She's specifically using catch phrases that appeal to the MAGA right and her speech was one after another of them.
22
The court packing is arguably one of the single biggest issues affecting the entire Western World at the moment. Many people have heard about the federalist Society that was founded at Harvard and Yale. But di you know that 14 of the last 18 SCOTUS Judges are either Harvard or Yale including 8 of the current 9. Of the 7 potential nominees to replace Breyer 5 of them were Harvard or Yale. Did you know that Neil Gorsuch's mother was part of Reagans team and was a pro-corporate right winger who tried to dismantle the EPA? Most of the the World has to deal with the major American companies. How do you think that works when they control SCOTUS so effectively that when cases in other countries go against American interests they can drag those cases back into American courts. Go look at how Ch3vr0n trapped the lawyer they won against them. The last time I tried to mention that case the YT alg0rithm flagged me as being "outside community guidelines" The packing of SCOTUS is of major concern OUTSIDE America as well as inside.
22
We can all say whatever we like about this stuff but 1 ugly truth remains - Trumps hardcore base don't care because they believe whatever Trump says. Every answer Trump gave they accept as FACT. Its sad thing to say, BUT until America is willing to deal with what drove 74 million people to discard reality and vote for Trump NOTHING WILL BE FIXED.
22
Yeah I did all of 1 psychology class (Psych 101 - like so many others). I don't think it takes even that much to know some of these people have genuine (and obvious) issues. The fact they can't see the reality of the situation while believing in bizarre nonsense that has no proof says should be enough. Whether that's an individual issue or an offshoot of mob psychology I can't say, but there's obvious issues.
22
The difference is that puppies don't prance about waving AR-15s and Glock-9s.
22
When your central ideology is "Everything we do is patriotic and Anything else is a crime" what do you expect.
22
I advise all American to look at what just happened in Malaysia and a few months back in Bolivia. It makes America look like a joke when other countries do lock up their politicians when they do the wrong thing.
22
You left out ignorance, lack of reality, delusion and the fact its just not funny.
21
Yeah he seems to misunderstand the words racism, and white supremacy let alone journalism. I have seen David get some things wrong but they are rare. I have never seem him knowingly promote false narratives. On numbers I remember when David was closing in on 1M subs and its now 1.4M subs. This guy is a clueless idiot.
21
The insanely stupid thing is that Dominion had to prove that Sydney Powell was: 1: Factually wrong; and 2: That she knew that what she was saying was wrong. She has just proven both those points. (edit) I first saw this first pointed out by CNN. Not that I like CNN but if they get something right lets encourage them to keep at it.
20
You're right. Glenn Kirschner who was a JAG and then a Federal Prosecutor has spoken about i as others have. On the 21st the new Commander in Chief (or a head of the army) can recall him to active duty and immediately court martial him for sedition. The same can happen to ANY of the military personnel who were at the riot and broke the law. There was a Military (general/colonel) on MSNBC the day after Mike Flynn said Trump could use martial law and he not only said said that Flynn could be recalled and court martialed, but he called for that to happen. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
20
Yeah this one is so totally disconnected to the point where its beyond head shaking and bewilderment.
20
Its pretty simple for most of them. Biden and the Dems are against Putin therefore Trump and the GOP must be for him. Its pure and simple ignorant tribalism. For Trump himself its about his attitude towards authoritarian leaders. He likes them, he likes they way they operate - pure and simple.
20
Its technically impossible for Rudy Giuliani to fart - his mouth is never closed long enough to build up the back pressure.
20
As an Australian what can I say? We warned the Brits when Murdoch moved there and they didn't listen. We warned the Americans when Murdoch moved there and they didn't listen either.
19
I'm Australian but went to college in America. One day as I channel hopped I had my introduction to televangelism. I asked my friends what this insanity was. The first thing they told was to shut up you never know who's listening and then they proceeded to tell me how much money was involved and how much power they had and how many people BELIEVED THEM. That was in the late 80s. The person I had seen was Jim Baker (before he went to jail) and his insaner than insane wife Tammy. In those pre-HDTV days she actually shined and reflected light on TV. It was farking amazing to see and even more amazing that people believed them. Suddenly a year or so ago I saw that he was back preaching the same idiotic crap he had in the 80s. Despite going to jail for fraud and cheating on his wife PEOPEL STILL BELIEVE HIM. Bannon is a smart bastard that many people have underestimated. He knows exactly how stupid and gullible Trumps base is and that they will believe almost anything they are told.
18
@jimohara He's not smearing Elder he's explaining what Elder is trying to do -> Steal a governorship.

TO ALL FROM AUSTRALIA Here are the links to the interview and the full program it was done as part of. A bit of background for those unfamiliar with Australia's ABC and the program called "4 Corners" this interview was done for. Australia's ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) no affiliation to America's ABC. It is our public broadcaster in a similar way to America's PBS and the British BBC. The program "4 Corners" does investigative long length stories the same way PBS's Frontline and BBC's Panorama do. This interview was done as part of a 2 Part special about how the Murdoch owned Fox News became Donald Trumps propaganda machine called "Fox and the Big Lie". The program included interviews with several ex-Fox presenters including Gretchen Carlson as well as the Sidney Powell interview. I have left a separate answer with additional background information about why Australia is so concerned about Rupert Murdoch's behavior in America. When Boebert worked as an escort do you think she was making money hand over fist? Do you think her next campaign slogan will be? Lauren Boebert - Bringing the Trailer Park to Congress. Or will it be? Lauren Boebert - A firm grip on the things that matter.
18
I'm just wondering when someone will just call one of them out right to their face. Just to see what happens when their bluff and bullshit is called.
