This is a cut and past of another comment I made but its inline with what you have said. Its about presenting people with something to vote for and not something to vote against. HEY DAVE do you see now why I have been trying to point out that you need to be doing a lot more reporting the Democrat candidates instead of story after story of "Look how bad Herschel Walker is!" or "Look how bad Dr. Oz is!" or "Look how bad this terrible GOP candidate is!" Jeff Daniels famous "America is not the Greatest" comment as the character Will McAvoy in "The Newsroom" includes a swipe at the liberals as losers when he says "if liberals are so f--king smart how come they lose so goddamn always?" The answer to his question is they are so transfixed on bad GOP candidates that they ARE NOT presenting reasons for people to get out and vote. They have to present things for people to vote for NOT vote against. Consider how the GOP have all those cringe adds saying they will protect people's 2dn Amendment rights. Yes they are cringy and at times disgusting, but they are messages to people that: IF you want "this" whatever "this" is then vote for me. The Democrats are like a football coach obsessed by the other teams offense and defense and pays little or no consideration to his own teams offense or defense. This is why Hilary lost on 2016 and why Brexit went how it did and why Australian Labor and British Labor both lost in 2019. All 4 of those losing campaigns were "Don't for that" but had almost nothing that said "If you want this then vote for it."

@freddfezzo8524 I have actually done a couple of these "HEY DAVE" comments and he's been replying or one of his staff has. Its all very basic mob/sports psychology. I was a swimmer in my college days and the sports psychologists used to say the most important thing is you have to think about what you need to do not what anyone else thinks or needs to do. Bill Belichick has that great line "Do your job." It fundamentally means that if you do your basic job then you can help your teammates do there job and very quickly you win. This is what I am worried about with the Dems and the Lefty media. They are so focused on the GOP they aren't thinking what they need to do. Its the lefty strategy they lose elections with all over the world. "They're bad. I'm good." is not a winning strategy. "They're crazy, but I am going to do stuff for you" WINS irrespective of what stuff is. Look at 2016. Hilary: "He's bad and I'm going to be the 1st woman president" Trump "MAGA, life sucks because of them and I'm going to bring back jobs from China." Go look at an interview with Rana Foroohar just did on "the Realignment" and listen for when she knew Hilary was toast. Look at 2020: Trump: "He's old. I'm awesome" Biden: "Shut up man. I'll handle COVID and get the country back to work." Look at what's happening right now. Who's saying "They're bad" and Who's saying "We'll do stuff." If you are willing to accept some very basic psychology then its a no brainer. Sorry for the long answer.

@freddfezzo8524 Go look up some basic Sports psychology. You never think in terms of what you don't do you think in terms of what you do want to do Think of a place kicker with his team 2 points down 4 seconds on the clock and its a 45yard attempt. An accurate kick is totally reliant on muscle memory. For that to happen they teach athletes to think very simply about basic things that must happen. If they think things like "I mustn't miss" they'll miss. They picture that kick perfectly - step, plant, kick, follow, through. This where the left go wrong they want people thinking too much on stuff that must not happen instead of things that must happen. It has to be kept very simple. We WANT to keep social security in place. We WANT to keep medicare in place. We WANT the rich to pay their fair share of tax. Vote for us so we can do these things. Think about how the GOP use the "we will protect your 2nd amendment rights" vote for us so we can do that meme and how successful it is. Mark Blyth talked about this back in July 2019 during the primaries. He was one of the very few who predicted Trumps win and Brexit. Listen to what he says about this stuff in response to a question on Elizabeth Warren. The link is time stamped right to the spot. That should tell you how often I use it. What he says applies anywhere at any level. The whole lecture is worth your time if you have it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGuaoARJYU0&t=4795s
