For starters most people don't realise that critical thinking is NOT abut criticizing or working out what's most important, its about critiquing (as in evaluating) something in a way that allows people to reach sensible conclusions. Very importantly its about re-evaluating as new information comes to hand. Think about any of those classes you may have taken where you do look at something and evaluate it. It can happen in almost ANY CLASS. It can happen in Science, Politics, History, Social Studies, Engineering and even Music. You might consider different perspectives and then re-evaluate. You might add a fact and then re-evaluate. You might drop a certain pieces of information that are found to be wrong or irrelevant and then re-evaluate. If you want an example go watch any of Rick Beato's "What makes this song great." They are all about listening to what's there, analyzing what's played, considering how things combine and reaching conclusions. Its fundamentally about evaluating information and reaching sensible conclusions. Its also about being able to re-evaluate as new information comes to hand and be willing to change your conslusions.
