You are absolutely right EXCEPT, messages like that have to come from people who themselves aren't deplorable. Don't ever forget Hilary NEVER accepted ANY responsibility for losing in 2016. Years later she was on Howard Stern and blamed Bernie Sanders for that loss when he had spent his time and effort supporting her and that was even after we all found out how the DNC cheated Bernie Sanders out of a free and fair primary.

I'm Australian but went to college in America. I find it incredibly sad but am also not surprised. I was there in the late 80s and the televangelists were on the rise then. Despite scandal after scandal people just kept following after them and handing them millions. I was there when the 1987 primaries were going on and was amazed that nobody could see how weird it was. Substance, policy and ideas were irrelevant even back then. Right now in Australia we aren't as bad as this but we are getting there. I was in Canada a few years ago for work and their politics is sliding. We get a lot of the British and European news here and its similar there. I don't know where you're from but I bet your country has some scumbag politicians that should STFU. WE ALL HAVE THEM, its just some of us really have bad ones.
